how many of you guys in the NFBC/NFFC feel like you are a real life general manager/owner of your fantasy franchises?

my personal response to this question is i don't feel like a general manager/owner of this particular franchise. i'm a rent a manager for one year that drafts players and then manages weekly lineups. yes, i feel more like an on field manager then a general manager of the entire franchise.

what's your opinion on the subject?

Go join a private keeper league... The NFBC is the best in the industry, but if you want trading and keepers, there are many franchises available elsewhere. I think I speak for most of us by saying we are growing pretty tired of you and your complaining. Why are you hanging around our message board, if you hate the NFBC so much?

i hate the NFBC?

i like to know when i said i hated the NFBC? i never said i hated it.......what i said is this all there is? draft and bid on rejects.

also, i'm in a private league with trading, keepers and the like so i don't need you to tell me about go play some where else.

about your dumb question i suggest you take your team and trash it........asking for help at this stage is dumb........go play in traffic. you see i might be opinionated but i know enough not to parade around here as a know it all. i suck at fantasy and made sure i got a good rotoplayer to assist me this year. moreover, i will offer any opinion i have of this or that league. look, this NFBC thing almost didn't fly this year and your great leader tried to move me out of league 9 years ago when this who thing started. yep, just so he could accomodate some other dude that only could do an auction league draft on such and such date.

so, yeah i don't like him or do i like the format, but that's my opinion. however, my partner and i will play this year and then go back to doing our private league business much like yourself the following year. so, good luck with your keepers there..........kinsler, freese, valverde, span and steward i'm sure you will lose sleep over which to keep.

you see pally, i don't forget people that are low lifes and man when somebody tries to take you out of your comfort zone at the time just to accomodate a dude last minute is pathetic. i mean if i decided to move to the classic that year i couldn't. i had another obligation on that date so the late in the day move ticked me off pretty good. however, call me an angel, or a'hole i decided to drop my spot in the auction league alltogether that year.........so mr A got his fella in and i dropped out. yep, i told him maybe i will come back when you guys get it right.

huh, he got it right? mr A lucked out of his arrangement or else this NFBC/NFFC would be history. so, if you don't like listening to ancient history or my opinions don't. but, if you think your going to prevent me from posting what's on my mind i suggest you come down to my abode and make me.

I think Mr A is a great nickname. Thanks for thinking of that. I really get what you are laying down here... some will not but who cares about them. By any chance do you have a background in motivational speaking? That may be a crazy question but think about it, most people this eloquent and positive do. I just thought I would ask.....

I don't know. But what I do know is none of this crap matters when your six feet under, because you can't take it with you......

okay class, since you think i need to enlist in an anger management class i will just to appease my loyal fans.......

it's funny to see that others here can make off colour remarks to bait somebody into saying a little more then he should and feel justified in making those remarks. if people disagreed what i said about your leader here state that instead of going off on me because you think i'm angry. ah, im not angry i wanted to let others know that not everything is peachy creamy in the NFBC world. again, it's not a matter of opinion on my part the remarks i said about our leader. NO, i alone experienced it you didn't and therefore there is no way you can "put down" someone for those experiences. but, i wonder folks who really needs to "grow up" here?

anywho, i'm going off to anger management class on monday night.....yep, they have one at the institute in middletown. how about them apples, alan?

listen dudes i ain't up for inane wisecracks pertaining to missing me at a live draft. we all know how you feel about me even if you actually got to know me.......nothing would change.

i'm an old guy now and yet i feel like i was 14 dealing with all the wisenheimer remarks i received from all you special people. just because you've been on this road a few times doesn't mean crappola.

anywho, my last word to all of you is try harder in 2012. i'm sure you will find somebody else to pee on and i hope you enjoy another round with some lucky dude,.

my reason for coming back for one more go around had nothing to do with trying to make friends. please, these league's offer no direct interraction with one another period. i don't get how you dudes think this is actually important. you don't trade players, you don't have farm systems or keepers what's the point? so, if you think i'm way off base with all this chatter then fine. ah i almost forgot, my pal alan says join a private league........and than he goes on by saying that nobody would want me. what the frak does he know about anything? i'm in two private leagues' and i run a home run pool and have been doing this for 25 years. so to suggest that i am a loner and a jerk is false. i go out of my way to get people to join our league's and i go out of my way to get the materials for our league's such as draft boards, sheets and beer and you think of me as some sort of retard. duh!

let's put it this way if i had an opening for a good auction or draft league and you where what was left to ask to join it i wouldn't even give a second thought. ugh!
