Will Winter Ever End?

I think this question pertains to just about everyone across the country. It looks like folks have been hit with snow in all 50 states and the snow has stuck around much longer in the East, Midwest and South. It's just been a long, long, long winter. I'm heading out to shovel out two more inches of snow right now. It just never ends.

If you need a place to rant about Mother Nature -- who has thrown more dangerous curveballs this year than Bert Blyleven did in his entire career -- then this is your thread. Let her know you are tired of this winter and want it to end. Please Mother Nature, bring back spring!!! WE WANT SPRING!!!

See ya in a bit. I have to go shovel for the umpteenth time in 2011.

We had six or seven whole inches...AT ONCE...in Atlanta. Stayed for a whole week. How is that for hardship!

We gain about 2 minutes of daylight with each passing day ( 1 min earlier sunrise and 1 mi later sunset). Since we are now 60-plus days past the winter equinox we have picked up 2 full hours of daylight since December!!

Yipee!!

I just can't get that picture of Pettitte on the mound in the Bronx a number of years ago pitching in the snow.
