Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Thanks JFK, I forgot to add the info about the event at the hotel. There will be plenty of signs pointing you in the right direction, but in case you get lost or anything just ask the folks at the front desk. They'll know all about our event and will be able to point you in the right direction.

Not yet. Right now the only guarantee we have for weekly prizes is from Steiner Sports.

Alex Sanchez misplayed a fly ball in yesterday's game against the Mets.

Sorry to get overly creative and all... but if I got stuck in the wrong airport on the way travelling to Vegas I'd just grab as private a place I could with a phone and my cheatsheets and have at it. if that were allowed, i'll just stay home and call in my draft. save all the travel fees. you're either at the draft table or else KP drafts off their cheatsheet.

tom - you aren't going to allow any "phone" picks, are you?

If you see someone that looks like Danny Devito on PCP, that's Dyv. Apparently we need one more assassinated JFK...

The business center is on the way to the draft rooms... if you get down the correct hallway just keep going until you see the signs for the event. Maybe a 5 minute walk off the casino floor?

I can't believe I have to work for the next 3 days until the fun starts. At least I have today off. Don't the rest of you do anything, or are you, like, professional fantasy baseball players? I want to hear from those who do tons of posting from work. That's outstanding.

Hot from Rotowire:

Walter and co-owner will be delivering a beatdown of biblical proportions in the NFBC this year so everybody else might as well tighten their velcro shoes, grab an extra case of Jolt cola, cancel their 13 hour D&D campaign in mom's basement, and email your online "supermodel" girlfriend (that you obsessively lie to about your looks/job/car/home) that you wont be able to chat with her from 8:30 pm until 4:15 every morning.

So good luck to everybody winning whats left in our wake. Remember second place is FIRST loser!

Oh yeah, hold my trophy while I kiss your girlfriend!

I've decided to change directions mid draft week...

...rather than formulating a top notch plan that considers other teams needs/tendencies/runs on players...nor category dominating theories, or balanced attacks...

...instead...just now...I've decided my brain is full...and I will commence to satisfying my creativity with a few PRE-DRAFT cocktails...and let my gut guide me through this beast.

...I'll later turn things over to the brain for FA bids and roster adjustments in season.

I'm gonna zig while everyone zags...and show you can both enjoy yourself in a party mood...have a few drinks...laugh...and STILL beat all the sober number chunchers!

LONG LIVE DRAFT DAY PARTYING!

Also, is there a number to call if we have to reach you guys (the administrators) in case of an emergency? We are in Brasilia 6&7 of the Convention Center Friday and Saturday. Head for the convention Center at the Rio and after a long walk you'll find us in Brasilia 6&7.

I will get the list from their rep this week at the Fantasy Sports Trade Conference and we'll post the list soon. But trust me, this is done.

If your plan is to worry more about other teams than your own, it is probably for the best that you change philosophies.

[/QUOTE]Oh, I never doubted you Greg. But patience is for the real world, it has no place in fantasy baseball.
