Popping My main event cherry this year :)

Been playing satellites and online for the last 5 or 6 years -- finally stepping up in class.

Couple of Questions

Do the venues have wifi? (specifically CitiField)

How long does the average live draft take?

As Bart Scott said --- " CANT WAIT!"

As Bart Scott said --- " CANT WAIT!" I know CitiField had WiFi available for the NFFC in September -- don't count on it, but you can probably expect to have access.

Average draft time will vary from 4 to 4.5 hours, including the two breaks.

From the RULES:

Electronic Equipment: Participants can use electronic equipment during the draft as long as it fits in the allotted draft spot at the table. There will be NO Internet connections or electrical outlets, so participants bringing laptops will have to supply their own power. Cell phones are allowed at the draft table, but we encourage participants to use them sparingly and not in a way that interrupts the draft process. We request that participants limit their usage to outgoing calls during the draft, not incoming calls, and anyone planning to remain on the phone for the entire draft needs to inform the NFBC about that ahead of time.

What this means is you will likely not be able to plug in during the draft. As the previous poster says - you may have WIFI - the Rules just don't guarantee that you will. So if you are using the computer - buy a backup battery and bring it. Most times you can recharge during the breaks. Make sure you have backup paper lists as well - cause if your computer dies - you'll be sunk.
