Recent draft in a 125 league to tune up for the main thought and suggestions would be great.
Carl Crawford- Wanted to start with a player that will get me stats in all 5 hitting cats.
Jose Reyes- Shortstop i feel is thin so i wanted one of the top 4
Kendrys Morales- Like the line up he hit in should be good in 4 of the 5 hitting cats.( Although i almost took Dunn here but dont like the batting avg that he could bring with him)
Adrian Beltre- Like that he is in Texas i hope he gets back to full health.
Ubaldo Jimenez- I feel is he a top flight number 1 almost went With Josh Johnson but like Jimenez a litte better because he plays for a better team.
Yovani Gallardo- Like thim alot as a number 2
Francisco Liriano- We he just happend to fall to me wanted Delmon Young here but he went the pick right before this. i should have plenty of k with my first 3
Neftali Feliz- I hope he closes good value i think in round 8
Gordon Beckham- Like he puts up tat in all cats
Adam Jones- decent speed power could be good value if he puts it all together
Austin Jackson- Like that he also fills stat in 5 cats. Im thinking at this point i should be good on speed, avg and runs but short in the power cats
Michael Cuddyer- I like that he can cover a few positions and he gives me a little bit of power.
Jhoulys Chacin- like him as a number 4 plenty of k and will not kill me era
Francisco Cordero- I do not like him but there was a closer run in round 10 and i missed them all. need 2 closer but i feel by far my worst pick
Sean Rodriguez- Should put up stats in all 5 cats and fill in as my MI
Yadier Molina- Need 2 catchers and i like ones that dont kill batting avg.
Scott Rolen- Decent power here in case Beltre is out
RA Dickey- My son made this pick he loves the knuckle ball He should post a decent era .
Jonny Gomes- good power source at this point he was what i was looking for to help in the power stats
ErikBedard- I hope he is back to is normal self. Risk reward selection
Hideki Matsui- still after power he was the best avaliable
Jeremy Guthrie- I dont like taking pitchers in the al east but need an arm here. Balt should get a few more wins and i hope it is when guthrie is on the hill
Reid Brignac- i like that he can play many of the infield positions
Scott Downs- Not sold on Rodney i feel Downs could close
Evan Meek - He could start as the Pirates closer
Tommy Hunter- Like wins potential that he brings to the table
Carlos Gomes- speed and runs at the top of the Brewers line up
Ramon Hernandez- Will not kill batting avg as a number 2 catcher
Barry Enright- Spot starter not bad this late
Melvin Mora- insurance for alll infield positions except ss.
In all i think i have a decent team but maybe a little short on power. I was not thinking of taking 3 starters in picks 5 thur 7 but i like what they bring to the table. If i could do it over i would have found a power bat in that string of picks.
