I Love Spring Training!

Post by Edwards Kings » Fri Mar 11, 2011 2:40 am

As I am reading all the news coming out of the camps, I realize why I love spring training so much. I love spring training so much because I AM ALWAYS RIGHT! For example:

When a player I like has a good outing - See, I am a genius. I told you that guy was going to be great.

When a player I like has a bad outing - Spring training doesn't mean anything. It just means he is saving it for when it is for real.

When a player I dislike has a bad outing - See, I am a genius. I told you that guy was going to be suck swamp water.

When a player I dislike has a good outing - Spring training doesn't mean anything. It just means he is using his luck up now and he will have nothing left when it is for real.

I really like spring training! ;)
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
