Okay folks, I'm packing my bags now and getting ready for the first weekend of drafts at the Bellagio Las Vegas. First order of business is where can I watch the Thursday March Madness games!! I have some meetings with the Bellagio staff on Thursday morning, but after that I need to watch some hoops. Someone tell me where the gang will be and I'll join up. Let's do it.



Friday's two events at the Bellagio will go smoothly and be a lot of fun. I think we are in Bellagio Grand Ballroom 3 and 7 next to the Wedding Chapel on Friday. Just go to the Conference Center in the Bellagio and walk the long, hard path to the Wedding Chapel. We start the Auction Championship at 9 am in Grand Ballroom 3 and I have some lunch for us at 11:30. Rex and Jack will lead the way with Rex as the auctioneer. Should be fun.



We start the Live Double Play right next door at 4 pm and have some food coming around 5:45. This 12-team format will be done in time for you folks to paint the town on Friday night!!



On Saturday I think we are in the Grand Ballroom or the DaVinci ballroom, which is just down the hall a bit. I was still finalizing that today. But either way, walk all the way down and we'll see ya for that 10 am PT draft. Don't be late and in fact be early to make life easier on me. We'll have food at noon and be done by 2:30. The Live Double Play will follow at 4 pm PT and again we'll have some food at 5:45 pm or so and be done by 7:15 or so. Should be a fun, easy day of drafting.



On Sunday we'll be back in Grand Ballroom 3 and 7 by the Wedding Chapel for the Ultimate Draft League at 10 am and the Ultimate & Super at 4 pm PT. I'll have phone hookups for those leagues and we'll be down there for all three drafts. Geoff and Tom will help me with the online participants. Should be smooth and fun.

Will there be some kind of fish or cheese entrees available on Friday for us Catholics who can't eat meat on Friday's because of Lent?



As for March Madness, I'm going to be at the Las Vegas Hilton Theatre when it opens at 8 am on Thursday, they have giveaways, $2 dogs, $2 on certain beer. Also, if you do a $20 parlay card you get a free shirt. U guys?

I arrive on Wednesday and will meet anywhere, anytime for some basketball.

It's going to be CROWDED everywhere, but we have a lot of guys coming into Las Vegas early. Someone with clout find us some tables somewhere!! We'll drink enough to keep that sportsbook happy!!!!
