For those of you joining me at Citi Field next weekend, please enter the ballpark at the Seaver VIP entrance and park in Lot D. Parking is free.

Here are some directions to get to Citi Field:

From Queens

o Grand Central Parkway East to exit 9E – Whitestone Exp 678/NY 25A E

(Northern Blvd)/Citi Field. Stay in the right lane as you exit and follow the road as

it bends towards the left. Take the first exit towards Citi Field/NY 25 A E

(Northern Blvd) and take the first right off of the exit. There is a brown sign

pointing to Citi Field with an arrow. Make a right at the traffic light and continue

straight on Shea Road to the blinking light. At the blinking light, make a left and

continue straight into Gate 8.

o Grand Central Parkway West to exit 9E - Whitestone Exp 678/NY 25A E

(Northern Blvd)/Citi Field. Bear right off of the exit and follow the signs to Citi

Field (do not continue on the Whitestone Exp on the left). You will come to a fork

in the road, bear left. Shea Road will be in front of you and ballpark parking

beyond that. Go straight, cross the street, and come to a stop sign. Make a left at the

stop sign to turn onto Shea Road. Continue going straight on Shea Road and make

the next right, which will lead you into Gate 8.

• From Manhattan:

o Robert F. Kennedy Bridge to Grand Central Parkway East to exit 9E – Whitestone

Field/NY 25 A E (Northern Blvd) and take the first right off of the exit. There is a

brown sign pointing to Citi Field with an arrow. Make a right at the traffic light and

continue straight on Shea Road to the blinking light. At the blinking light, make a

left and continue straight into Gate 8.

o Queens Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway to exit 22A E toward the Van

Wyck Expressway. Follow signs for Grand Central Parkway West to exit 9E –

Whitestone Exp 678/NY 25A E (Northern Blvd)/Citi Field. Bear right off of the

exit and follow the signs to Citi Field (do not continue on the Whitestone Exp on

the left). You will come to a fork in the road, bear left. Shea Road will be in front

of you and ballpark parking beyond that. Go straight, cross the street, and come to

a stop sign. Make a left at the stop sign to turn onto Shea Road. Continue going

Tom:

Little help here. All of the posted directions lead you to the following:

"Continue going straight on Shea Road and make

the next right, which will lead you into Gate 8."

But on the top of the page you posted:

"For those of you joining me at Citi Field next weekend, please enter the ballpark at the Seaver VIP entrance and park in Lot D. Parking is free."

Never easy driving and/or finding things around this place. So, any help would be appreciated. Which is it?

Hey Tom, quick question after the draft how easy is it to get a taxi from Citi Field. A local here told me that you can`t call up for service ,you pretty much have to get lucky hailing one .Is she messing with me ?
