I leave the writing on here to bjoak, Dan, Shawn etc because they are a lot better at it than I am. I am going to take a stab though at a quick and easy guide to evaluate your draft. I would love it if people would humor me and apply it to their draft. Hopefully it helps a newbie or 2 along the way.
I get that this is simple and cookie cutter.
1) Do I possess at least 7 legit middle of the order bats that should break 25 and 90 each?
2) Will only one of those 7 project to hit below 270 while having at least 3 other guys that could hit 285 or higher?
3) Will my top 4 speed guys project to at least 100 stolen bases?
4) Do I have 3 positions or less on offense where I feel like I have a below average performer?
5) Do I have a guy rostered who could perform above league average in at least 2 of those positions in my opinion?
6) Do I have at least 2 people that I drafted between rounds 6 and 12 that I could foresee going rounds 1-4 next year?
7) Do I have more players over 35 than under 35 in key positions?
8) Do I have more than one player that can be legitimately labeled as injury prone?
9) Do at least 3 of my top 4 starting pitchers play for teams that should compete for a division title?
10) Between my top 3 starters and top closer can I project 600 k's?
11) Do I own a consensus top 10 closer with a clear path to a second closer?
12) Can I foresee under the proper circumstance 2 of my 3 4th-6th starters having a strong probability of outperforming the draft slot?
BTW I have never drafted a team that passed all 12 questions. I hope that you can. Come on apply this to your main event or auction team and humor ole Chest a bit.

1) Do I possess at least 7 legit middle of the order bats that should break 25 and 90 each?
CARGO, ZIMM, POSEY, VLAD, MANNY, IKE DAVIS, RASMUS. BARELY
2) Will only one of those 7 project to hit below 270 while having at least 3 other guys that could hit 285 or higher? DEFINITE YES
3) Will my top 4 speed guys project to at least 100 stolen bases? ICHIRO, BARTLETT, CARGO, GUITTEREZ I SAY YES
4) Do I have 3 positions or less on offense where I feel like I have a below average performer? 2ND CATCHER, SS, MI, CI- SORRY I FAIL
5) Do I have a guy rostered who could perform above league average in at least 2 of those positions in my opinion? I THINK SO IN BARTLETT SS AND SMOAK CI.
6) Do I have at least 2 people that I drafted between rounds 6 and 12 that I could foresee going rounds 1-4 next year? YES AND MOST WILL SINCE YOU DRAFTED THEM MINE ARE RASMUS AND BECKHAM
7) Do I have more players over 35 than under 35 in key positions? TOO LAZY TO ADD IT UP BUT PROBABLY
8) Do I have more than one player that can be legitimately labeled as injury prone? I THINK I DO PRETTY WELL HERE BUT I AVOID INJURY RISK
9) Do at least 3 of my top 4 starting pitchers play for teams that should compete for a division title? BUMGARNER, GARZA, HANSON, BUCHHOLZ I SAY YES
10) Between my top 3 starters and top closer can I project 600 k's? NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR ME HERE

12) Can I foresee under the proper circumstance 2 of my 3 4th-6th starters having a strong probability of outperforming the draft slot? MATUSZ DEFINITELY, GARZA POSSIBLY. ALTHOUGH IT IS PAINFULLY CLEAR TO ME THAT i LIKE HIM MORE THAN MOST.
BTW I have never drafted a team that passed all 12 questions. I hope that you can. Come on apply this to your main event or auction team and humor ole Chest a bit.

1) No...but I would say I have roughly ten 15HR-70RBI guys (Butler, Zobrist, Longoria, Bautista, Upton, Granderson, Markakis, Snider, Ike Davis, McLouth)
2) No, I have several guys projected to hit below .270 which is a weakness of my team on paper. am hoping that several of my guys exceed their BA projections (Upton, Granderson, Zobrist, McLouth)
3) Yes, or just slightly under 100 (Upton, Granderson, Zobrist, McLouth/Brantley)
4) Yes (Barajas and Hundley at C, Brignac and A Cabrera are borderline)
5) Yes, I think Hundley and A Cabrera
6) Yes, (Granderson, Markakis, Snider, J Zimmerman, Zobrist to name a few)
7) No
8) No
9) Yes (Verlander, J Sanchez, G Gonzalez)
10) Yes
11) No, my bullpen has lots of question marks - I have Kimbrel and Venters which is essentiall one closer and then Fuentes, Farnsworth and Meek are ????
12) Yes, I think Zimmerman, E. Santana, and Floyd have a decent shot to outperform their draft slot

If memory serves, your only main event team was Week 1, so I guess I will not see you Week 2. My loss and good luck!
