Greg or Tom,

Really enjoyed drafting this weekend. I thought I'd start a thread to ask about the Website. I have a few quick questions.

1. Is it possible to toggle between multiple teams when setting lineups? This would be very helpful for lineups / FAAB and absolutely for live scoring.

2. Again on the lineup page I'd like to see the position of the player listed next to the names and not after the calendar of games. Not sure if others feel the same, but I do.

3. You might want to put a set lineup button at the top of the sheet, currently it's only at the bottom. This will save from having to scroll down to hit submit.

These are a few, others may want to suggest as well. I love the site and the direction of the NFBC. The year is off to a great start.

On the set lineup page, I'd like really really really the following:

1.) Fix the hitter order so that it is C/C/1B/3B/CI/2B/SS/MI/O/U. Right now the MI/CI/U is at the bottom.

2.) For the pitchers, list all SPs first and then RP. RIght now they are all mixed in. which makes it tough to look at.

3.) Order the bench players hitters first then pitchers. They are mixed together now in alphabetical order.

4.) Allow us to switch lineups pages for our teams without going back out to the My Teams page

The first three should be easy but make a huge difference to me,

The fixes above would really help [/QUOTE]You are not insane. The set lineup page especially for the 50 round drafts is not good at all. #3 is the most frustrating. There has to be some separation of pitchers and position players to make it easier to scan the list especially when you have to scroll thru 30 bench players.

Will there be an easy way to see how much each team has left in FAAB?

I'd like to see more info on the team page such as projected starts for my pitchers. This feature is used on sportsline and makes life a lot easier.

I would also love to see the SP's starts shown to make life easier when making out my weekly lineups.

Player News, Updates, and Injuries should also be more up to date with each player in your lineup letting you know when something is up. Little symbols help! I have used Sportsline for my info the last couple years with SCOUT TEAM. This has kept me in the loop much better than NFBC's info.

Other than that, I am happy with everything else

These are good requests.

Not only should pitchers be grouped after the hitters, but maybe even a seperate box for them.

This would be particularly helpful for drafts that went 50 rounds.

I mentioned it in a different thread, but on our league page, we can "Add New News" which is a great feature for some healthy smack talking. But prior to last year we could also accompany our smack talk with a pic. That would be great to be able to do it again!

My biggest question right now (and I have emailed Tom & Greg) is to get 100% clarification if the 'friday hitters' rule applies to THIS week, Greg in an earlier thread has indicated that it does, so effectively we are only setting our batting line up for thursday and then changing it, but the site groups thurs-sun together for setting line up unlike the following week. They are 2 or 3 or players I nwould start on thursday if i could drop them on friday so this is significant and need to be clear for those on and off of these boards.

The first three should be easy but make a huge difference to me, Ending the lineup with MI-CI-U is the classic set-up, I don't see the point of re-inventing the wheel there. With pitchers, I totally agree, but also note that some pitchers are labeled weirdly as middle relievers, or SPs when they're not, etc., so fixing the positions would be a nice tandem to that. Excellent idea.

I love how prominent the player WISH LIST is. Stats and Greg/Tom listened to all the feedback about how useless and annoying all of the articles and advertising on the fanball site were. And even Stats in prior years had the wish lists just too small, and when the players were picked up, they stayed on the wish list. Hopefully that is fixed otherwise its useless- but very promising so far. I'd even love to be able to rank my wish list during the week, just because different teams have difference needs, and different faab pools, so it would be nice for keeping track. Also nice for co-owners to communicate. But that is a "wish list" item. The key is that people drop off the list when they are picked up. If it merely has that, its super useful. I just don't know yet because FAAB hasn't run for the first time.

Announcing the current week's pickups was also a nice feature that I don't remember if Stats did first or Fanball, but regardless, it was nice. Anything that saves a million clicks is nice.

Thanks. Bump. Greg, is your IT Dept working on any of these suggestions? What are your thoughts moving forward on making a few of these pages more user friendly?

Last year, we were able to see "probable" starters for the next week, which was very useful when we were doing current week's FAAB.

Any chance we can get that this year?
