Res - Lidge, Venters, Moustakas, Britton, Hannigan, Penny, Blake I don't think the top of your pitching staff is the problem. You start off with 4-5 guys who could be decent to good. The problem is in the depth. You have exactly 7 starters, which is pretty much what you need (not counting Britton who has no job), and some of them like Penny and Cecil may not last long. I've no idea what you plan to do with all those saves. I'd donate Venters back to the league and drop Kuo in the first faab period.

Hey Wags, I probably wouldn't have bid on Braun that high just because of his current injury but that's just me. Brewers are going to be interesting the first few months because it is looking more and more every day that Corey Hart will not start as well.
Thanks for the comments. I definitely agree. I figured, one of my priorities in FAAB is to find starters. Last year, there were many SPs available and hopefully this year, there will be as well.

Slim, didn't mean to bypass you. I think Belt is a very interesting pick. Will he get the playing time this year?

It's funny how low Marmol went in your auction compared to ours, where he went in the middle 20s I believe!

It's funny how low Marmol went in your auction compared to ours, where he went in the middle 20s I believe! Belt went anywhere from the 14-18th round in NY drafts. I picked Marmol in the 5th round of the main, not the auction. Equals about a $18-20 pick in an auction, so thats about right. His strikeout numbers for a closer are freakish.

Res - Lidge, Venters, Moustakas, Britton, Hannigan, Penny, Blake At first glance, the power looks light, and may be a bit short on speed, depending on what you're expecting from Carlos Gomez. The staff looks solid though. Best of luck
Thanks... not worried about steals at all. I actually project the numbers in the top 10% at about 180. HR's are definitely low, around 250, but thats not giving Belt or Moustakas any, so I am hoping for something out of them. RBIs are also projected at top 10%. I think my problem will be starting pitching, which I hope will be a FAAB solution. THANKS for the input. Good luck with your team. It looks very good.

Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, Dempster, Stauffer, C. Young, McLellan, Franklin, McGee, Aardsma Love your team, Jeff. You will most likely be the favorite to win our league. Might be a little short on saves, depending on Aardsma/Mcgee getting their share and a little low on BA, but otherwise a very good team. Love those Phillies pitchers!

I have always found saves to be available on the wire, hopefully this year is no exception! :)

$122 on Albert, Cargo and Crawdad Very good value on those 3. I spent $80 on Cabrera/Hanley.

Team looks good. Solid across the board and love Wieters this year. Hopefully Latos isnt out too long. I also have him in the auction from last night and didnt know about the injury.

Good luck to you too! You may be right. I am hoping for starters. Too bad this wasn't a trading league. I could trade you some saves for a starter. Have a good trip tomorrow and good luck in the draft.

Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, Dempster, Stauffer, C. Young, McLellan, Franklin, McGee, Aardsma Jeff, it's a shame you couldn't squeeze Hamels in there in round 4, but Heyward was nice value and Hamels is a whiny little biatch anyway . One might glance at the offense and feel like it has a general aura of "missing something", but player by player you can make a case for everybody to contribute.

It was nice seeing your son there excited about your pitching staff. Good stuff. Good luck.
