...I predict the winner of the NFBC 2005 will come out of Las Vegas League 9.
I'm not even in that league...wish we we're.
No reasons why...but remember me when it happens.
(I heard some crazy picks coming from there...and I know crazy!)

You mean like Barry Bonds and Curt Schilling going in the 4th round?
I think a lot of it was over reaction to injuries but that might prove to have been the wisest choice and the proper place.

I am in Las Vegas 9 and was shocked by some of the picks, but I figure maybe they know something I don't. Bonds did go in the 4th but Schilling went in the 2nd round on team 11, so pick #20

I appreciate the prediction for Las Vegas 9 being the overall champion. It gives me a 1 in 15 chance of 100K, pretty good odds. Jason Kendall went in the 4th round (60th pick). I think that was the shock of the draft. Podsednik went to the same team with the 30th pick. I know everyone has their own strategy but that was way too early for either of those guys. I got Rolen with the 27th pick. I think that is the lowest of any league

bobby j I agree that kendall was to high , but podsednickat 30 doesnt suprise me. If you get 70 steals you dont have to worry about speed guys the rest of the draft. He will raise that batting avg too. He hit 314 as a rookie.

I was most surprized getting Vinny Castilla in the 27th round. I know his away froom Coors numbers but still he is the defending NL RBI king.

crazytown - you should post your entire pitching staff. It would make a few people sit back and wonder.

There is always that changing leagues thing that usually drives the batting average down alittle and reduces the SB. I see your point but hitting 270/100/10/40/50. I am not sure a 2 cat guy is your 20-25th bat taken in the draft. At least with Pierre he will hit 300 and play for a team that encourages him to run. This will be a new thing for the White Sox. What did you think about our draft, kind of crazy
