I know it's a little early, but what the hell: WE HAVE STANDINGS TODAY!!

Congrats to Donn Johnson of Las Vegas League 4 as he leads the Main Event after one partial day!!

Hey, I'm loving the overall standings page, so why not bring attention to it? Check out the national contests for the overall championship, the Auction Championship, the Live Double Play, the Online Double Play and even the Slow Draft Championship by going to Standings and Overall. Links are there for all of them.

Hey, it's still early but I love looking at the overall standings to start my day. So here's to Gino Yu, for leading the overall standings through TWO days of action.

Here's the overall leaders:

Main - Gino Yu

Auction - Ted Cohan of Walla Walla Washington!!!

Live Double Play - Chad Schroeder

Online Double Play - Ryan Struve

Draft Champions - Mike Patterson

Actually I made this post to let folks know that we still need to add the 228 teams from the Live Double Play into the Online Double Play overall standings. There should be 780 teams in that contest, not just 552. That's the "Double" portion of the Double Play for those live participants. They have two chances to win overall prizes. We'll get that updated shortly and get that contest correct. Thanks all and continued good luck.

appreciate everyone getting all this functionality working so smoothly so far. You know I haven't been a big fan of stats but this year they did a fantastic job...

Just for fun, it was exciting to be 14th overall Since it is unlikely that we will ever see such exalted status again, we had to take a screen shot

I guess I missed what they did wrong in previous years. The last two years with STATS we rarely had a single hiccup and they introduced live standings in 2008. It's a shame we needed last season to get folks to appreciate how good this IT team is.

Good luck. I agree: The start to this season has been remarkable and enjoyable for all of us. Let's keep the momentum going.

It just has to be a personal thing.

For the last few years, before Fanball, STATS had everything as streamlined as it can get.

Okay, I didn't update the overall standings earlier this week, but it's time to draw attention to our leaders again. We will try to create some links on the NFBC home page for those folks who aren't in our contest showing the leaders in our leagues, but we don't have that done yet. So I'll update the Message Boards from time to time to keep everyone on top of things.

Here we go with the overall leaders:

Main Event -- Terry Lewis (has been there all week)

Auction Championship -- Jason Steeves (just edged past John Hogan today)

Live Double Play -- George Kleemann (a first on the overall leaderboard George!! Nice job)
