First FAAB Week 1

Post by ScottieBaseball » Sun Apr 03, 2011 12:32 pm

Well, let's make this the thread to post your free agent wins and losses. I was hoping to pick up Zach Britton in some of my leagues but he was drafted in every one of my NFBC leagues, but not my CBS leagues

Anyone get any good deals in Week 1 FAAB?

Don't worry Scottie, your boy Britton won't be available for pick up until next week.

Greg,

Can we get an estimate of the time frame? I know in years past years week 1 took longer because it was double-checked. Thanks

In an early draft, now that bidding is closed - the Premature E-Draftulation: Tsuyoshi Nishioka (2B) was not drafted - what will it take to get him?

(that was a joke everyone) We will definitely double-check all bids before releasing them each week. While we can definitely finalize all bids ina matter of minutes, STATS has said that we likely won't post them right away to make sure everything has run right. This week we'll double and triple and quadruple everything before posting the winning bids. Hopefully everyone understands the reasoning behind that.

Honestly thrilled by what I've seen from Stats so far. Minor glitches have been dealt with swiftly and accurately.

Keep up the great work.

It's a GOOD first FAAB period. Congrats to all of the winning bidders and continued good luck to all in the NFBC contests. We're off to a VERY GOOD start.
