jennings is basically andrew mccutchen with a little less power but more speed. if jennings was a starter on draft day, he'd be going in the single digit rounds. STRONG BUY!

I was wondering where all this Sam Fuld praise/bashing doubletalk was coming from. That explains it.
We drove 22 miles, country around Farmington. Signs started appearing. THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED BARN IN AMERICA. Cars, tour bus, cameras;postcards sold.

No one sees the barn,

They are taking pictures of taking pictures
Fuld was my choice over Bloomquist this week, though I did have Bloomy as a conditional in any leagues I put small bids on both (won Fuld in two leagues, Bloomy in none). I think Fuld has a much better chance of holding onto the job due to his incredible defense. Time will tell.

I see that you agree Mark. Even though you pimped Britton & Bloomy all week, the player you actually put bids in and won in a couple leagues was Fuld, the one guy you knocked on the boards. Too funny.

RT, on the other hand, pimped Fuld all week and then bid on and won him. Interesting on the different styles.

i bid on a lot of players. britton was the most expensive one for me. looks like i didn't bid enough though. wanted jennings too, but again, didn't bid enough

i wonder how much of a role the sportscenter catch played in your decision making. desmond jennings is the future and will be up in june at the latest
None at all. To be perfectly honest, though I read about the catch, I've yet to see it. However, it's pretty common knowledge that Fuld's a great defensive outfielder.

I was simply looking for cheap speed for the teams I put bids in on him, "cheap" being one of the two key words.

The reason I like Fuld slightly better than Bloomy is because I see more potential for playing time, especially short term. Given Tampa's park, lineup, and team construction, they'll have to win games via pitching, defense, and speed. Fuld fits the bill for 2 of the 3. Tampa has shown they live and die by the Super 2 date, so Fuld has no real competition for AB's until Jennings comes up in June. Even then, Fuld fits the defense and speed needs that Joyce and Damon don't, so who knows.

Bloomy on the other hand has competition at every position he plays. He could be a super-utility player and play everywhere, but I just think Gibson's simply riding the hot hand for now. We'll know soon enough.

Either way, I got Fuld cheap so if he doesn't work out, I'll try someone else.
