In case you've never heard of it before, STATS Pass is the ultimate online data source for teams, agents, players and media outlets. It has only been available to teams, agents and media partners from STATS in the past. This is not a consumer product. But the guys at STATS wanted to give the most die-hard fantasy baseball audience in the universe a chance to dive into this incredible data base and use it to help their fantasy baseball experience. This is an incredible opportunity for all of our NFBC members and we hope you enjoy it.
This has everything you'd need to evaluate players in 2011 and before. The data base has game logs from 1954 to present and every player, every team, every historical item you could ever imagine is available and broken down by splits, matchups and more. It will take a little time for you to find everything, but just surf around and use this thread to help each other find the good data.
Once you log in, you'll be directed to the current MLB Standings link. From there maybe go over to the STATISTICS link to the left and dive into a few of those pulldowns. Go to the Advanced Search pulldown and you'll see a bunch of opportunities to sort by time frame, matchups, situations, etc. This might be good for pitcher-hitter matchups for weekend games and more. You can also look at historical data here, as you can throughout the site.
The Scouting Reports pulldown has enough info in it to last you the full two weeks!!

The Players link is where you can find anything you want about anyone who ever played in the majors. The individual splits for each player for each season with game logs of every game ever played is PHENOMENAL. To even think that one company has all of this in one spot where you can call it all up in one second is amazing. My head hurts just thinking about all of this information in one spot. After a few hours of looking around, you'll understand why every media outlet, agent and pro team subscribes to STATS Pass. It's an amazing area of data collection that you will never find anywhere else.
For you historical buffs, enjoy the past data. It's amazing and the game logs are all there for the past 55+ years. Just amazing.
Again, this is a free trial run for all of our NFBC members, something very few consumers have ever seen before. Enjoy the experience and we'll try to do the same thing for our NFFC members this summer. If there's enough interest from NFBC members to extend their subscriptions, we'll come up with a plan to make that happen. Thanks all and enjoy.
