Drafted Jennings but until he comes up I put in a bid for Fuld this week and went for help in pitching by going after Lohse and Carmona.

See what happens after missing out on Harrison and Britton last week

How long of a wait has it been for the FAAB to run btw? Just curious. Last year was always an adventure lol

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Overpaid for Lohse...got Carmona and Tomlin as well.

Really wanted fuld for the steals but alas...my crappy pitching got some depth to allow me to do some spot starting.

All these two week wonders that go for hundreds of dollars... makes no sense. Ogando last week and he runs up against a good team and gets lit up tonight... so much for his 0.00 era...

All it takes is one person to love a guy more than you and your bid's toast.

Every league's different and every week's different. Just keep plugging away and don't beat yourself up the times it doesn't work out. There are times it doesn't work out for each and every one of us, more times that it doesn't than does.

I beleive he had 1K, 3 walks... Yanks showed other teams how to adjust to Ogando. His fastball was very hittable the second time through the lineup. my point is how can 2 week wonders be worth hundreds of FAAB when they werent good enough to get drafted... looking at some of the bids again this week, they are all over the map with high dollars for 2 week wonders again... But, time will tell I suppose
