RT,

I don't toot my own horn very often, but I will take this time to recognize myself for insanely having him active this week in the 1K Slow Draft! :D

This game is real fun sometimes-NOT!! So I am sporting a 4.43 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in my Main Event League (which I am in 1st by .5 pts. One of those great hitting, terrible pitching teams)

So I decide to sit both Dice-K and Randy Wolf this week. They are 3-0 in 21 IP with an ERA of ZERO and have given up a combined 11 H/BB in 3 starts this week

To make my stupidity even greater, I decide to start Paul Freaking Maholm . Why you ask? Because I thought he might get a win against Washington. Instead he gets pounded by Florida and his second start gets taken away by a rainout (probably a blessing in disguise!)

I do have Beckett, Hamels, and Billingsley who all pitched great this week so maybe I should just shut up and be happy with what I have!

Sorry to hijack the thread a little. I congratulate all of you who started Dice-K this week!

Morrow and Ubaldo are back for ya in many of your leagues. That's gotta help you.

Rt the way i figured it, dice k was so bad his first 2 starts, he would have a very short leash his next start so the downside was limited. sometimes things actually do work the way they are supposed to.

Did you watch him pitch the last start before everyone dropped him? I have never seen so many cock-high 2-1 fastballs. I picked him in the 25th+ round, and I just refuse to take another 3.2 inning, 11 hits, 8 earned-run start no matter what he does positive. the risk reward is too great. whoever gets him, good luck!
