I’ve been struggling with my 4th and 5th outfielders. Last week Luke Scott was dropped in my league, so I went HUGE to get him.

I’m assuming that I way overbid ($331), but I really needed to do something to try and improve my team.

I don't know if I'm high bid yet, but at least now I know I didn't outbid someone by $200.

Brandon League was available in my ME and I needed saves desperately. I way overdid it ($341) but I had to be sure. Runner up was $178. I don't think Aardsma is getting his job back.

Lee was carted off the field Sunday after he was injured in a collision with shortstop Angel Sanchez in which both players were chasing a Mart Kotsay pop fly in the seventh inning. Sanchez' knee connected with Lee's abdomen as both men slid.

Carlos Lee will spend Sunday night in a Houston hospital A preliminary chest X-ray at the hospital showed no fractures, the team said. He is expected to undergo a CT scan as well.

Doesn't sound serious but I picked up Bousgie for 9 bucks anyway.

Jason Bourgeois, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and drove in the game-winning run in the ninth inning on Saturday, got the start in Sunday's series finale against the Brewers. Michael Bourn is 4-for-8 against Brewers starter Chris Narveson in his career, but manager Brad Mills opted for Bourgeois to start in center against the lefty.

"That was a tough one," Mills said. "You ride the hot horse and give him a chance if he's feeling good to swing the bat against another left-handed pitcher."

A week should be just enough time for Bourgeois to find his level - that is, the level of a 29 year old journeymans version of Michael Bourn, minus the walks and stellar defense.

Funny how it is like night and day with 12 team vs 15.

In ME Bid 138 for D Brown lost him for 191 bid. Last week in 12 team he went for 7. Since both my teams this year are pathetic thanks Zim Manny Ibanez plus a whole more under achievers. In 12 team bid 177 for Matt Joyce runner up was 0 lol Then bid 99 for B Morris lose to a 102 bid. Happy with C Jackson in ME got him for 44 runner up 27. At least I got Lillibridge last week cheap lol Good Luck all

[/QUOTE]Please...there's no 'stuff' going on. They've been sitting Bourn a lot on Sundays this year in an effort to keep him fresh. Bourgeous is 29 years old and been in AAA since 05...now all of a sudden he's going to play over Bourn because of a 3 hit game. That's funny...

You absolutely play him while Lee is out, he could swipe 30 bags as a 4th OF the way things are going right now, he was worth a pickup for sure...he's just not going to play over Bourn like somebody is praying for.
