Now that was an atbat!!! If you didn't see it go back and find it. with 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs he fouled off 9 two strike pitches against Jared Weaver and then he lined a single up the middle to drive in two and on his way to first yelled and fist pumped. There's a gamer! May 2nd and he plays it like its October!

Definitely one of the grittiest at bats I've seen in a looooong time. He fouled a couple pitches off that were in the other batter's box. He didn't want to take a walk.

As Eck said "he's in full on swing mode".

Pedroia is a gamer and everytime I watch him play I think for a milla second...... that could be me! Not really of course, but that type of blue collar player will always be my favorite!
