Someone here called this the other day.

The Braves are considering placing Jason Heyward (shoulder) on the disabled list.

Heyward has had issues with his right shoulder dating back to spring training, and it's recently become worse to the point that he's missed a handful of games. It shouldn't be anything that will keep him out long, but it might be wise to sit him out for a couple weeks and hopefully put the injury in the past

i have a feeling heyward is seriously F'd. they tried to baby him for the past couple weeks. when you have numbness, that indicates a more serious problem.

I didn't know where to put this one for Doughboys, so I'll provide some humor in this thread for you. I thought you'd apprecitate this Uecker-ism Dan:

From Bob Uecker during a Brewers broadcast...

"The Nationals have placed Infielder Ian Desmond on Maternity Leave. I'm really surprised...we were in Washington on our last road-trip and he wasn't even showing."
