I think it would be fun if Greg and Tom added a simple and fun contest for the 2006 competition. When every owner registers for the main event, we should make 1 prediction for both a pitcher and a hitter from all of MLB that we feel will be the biggest bargain & biggest flop of the upcoming season. We can write our picks and name on a piece of paper and slip it into a ballot box where noone will see it until after the competition.
The winner will be decided based upon the average draft position of the weekends main event players and their overall rank at seasons end.
For example, lets say you think David Wright will be a huge Bargain coming into the draft and you chose him as your player. Once all the drafts are concluded from the main event, he is calculated an average draft position based on all leagues and lets say for arguement that position is 45. If at the end of the season he has a great year and is the 25th best ranked player, then you would be plus 20. On the other hand if he flops and is the 100 best player then you would be minus 55. Overall best positive score wins.
This contest could be sponsored by another company, maybe even one who's end of season rankings would be used as the official rankings, and 1 cooresponding grand prize could be given out.
Anyone else like the idea?

New NFBC Contest for 2006
Actually i do , it would show the guys who can find talent , before they become top picks. It would have to be more than one pick. 5 to 8 sounds better. You would have to be careful one bad pick could ruin the good ones.
