Greg indicated we could have one last Draft Champions format for the 2011 season. For guys that don't know, the Draft Champions format is this:

Draft all your players in one night and that is your team for the rest of the year (no time consuming FAAB each week). Normally these are 50 round drafts. However, since 1/4 of the season is over, I would think we could trim it down to 40 rounds.



If Greg is okay with it, let's run it at $125. Draft day could be next Friday, June 3rd beginning at 7pm EST.



Prizes are:

1st $1000

2nd $375

3rd $125



Who is with me?Who is the best drafter out there? First come first serve. Please post real name if you want in.

I'd be more interested in this if it were on a Friday night. Doing 45 rounds on a Thursday's a bit brutal for those of us who have to crawl into the office in the morning.

Would you consider shorter time limit for picks the last 20 rounds or so to make it faster?

40 rounds sounds good (as opposed to 45 or 50).



also, if my math is correct, the cost should be $125 (not $150).

I know times is tough, but for the price of a cup of coffee a day you too can get in on this last ? DC of the yr. By the way I'm fine w/ attempting to get it done in one evening, however if others would prefer stretching it out a day or 2 that is ok w/ me too. I'd just like to see it happen.

I'm assuming this league/draft is a no go for tonight. Maybe try again next week? However i need to know as I have plans tonight to do something else if this is not happening. TX

Mike McElroy It's a no go. Sorry. We will shoot for a July DC if folks want it. A half season league would be fun, too. Thanks all.

Greg, I am in for the July 1/2 Way Point League...

I am also in for the first $375.00 Draft for 2012 after the season ends...

Due to my Jim Hendry like management of my teams this year, 2012 can't get here quick enough
