This guy has to be the most frustrating pitcher in baseball. I watched the game last night, his stuff looked pretty good and he seemed to be cruising along, but at the end of the night he had pitched to a 5.68 ERA and taken the loss. Now stands at 3 up and 7 down on the year with an ERA well over 5.. I thought it was a good year to take a gamble on him....thought wrong.

They seem to cruise along until they see the first sign of trouble and then BOOM......implosion.
The pitcher I always seem to fall for year after year who can't seem to ever escape trouble is Luke Hochevar. Start after start, he seems unhittable for the first few innings until giving up 82 runs, 247 hits & 3 dozen walks in the 5th or 6th. Fun stuff.

Dealing with him as an Indians fan has been tougher...2007 made us think that he was capable of so much, but he just hasn't been consistent since. He has such good stuff, he just has no mental toughness.

Another disaster last night. I'm done with him, cutting him from both of my teams. 4 IP, 8 hit and 3 walks. 13.50 ERA. Good riddance.
