50% went for the two tough match ups. At the Phils and at the Rockies. (Unless you use the Gekko DL strategy and avoid the Phils).

Really throwing your rook into the fire Mr Baseball?

I chose to sit him in three leagues.

To Rub, or not to Rub

That's the query for Dub,

Does he sink like a sub?

Or rise like a chub(by)?

He held him out

Hoping to help his club,

We'll find out tonight

If the move was a flub

Apologies in advance

[/QUOTE]Likewise, started him in 2/2. I'll call it a victory if I can get a W, 10 Ks and an ERA south of 5.25.

As well 2/2. Hoping for a W, a few K's, and a WHIP & ERA that won't hurt me.

My thought process was:

I picked him up as a potential closer, not starter

Inning likely limited (although this may be a good thing )

Could there be two harder places in the NL?

My heart can handle the missed out, better than the blow up.

I also wanted to help out everyone else. My benching him, is bound to lead to 2 wins and great Ks and ratios.

I got Rubby on two teams......started him in one & benched him in the other.

I did the same thing with J Garcia for his one start in COL..... Looked like a genius in one league & a bumb in the other....3 IN 11 ER......ouch

First 8 batters - 4 walks and a hit.....looking like my worst fears are going to be realized.

:( Ultimately decent stats with some good fortune early until his control came around leaves him in line for the Win if Broxton-Padilla-Guerrier-Rubby-MacDougal-Guerra-???- can close it out.

Good job for those who had the balls to start him. Two wins and serviceable ratios. The rest of us are now set up for the whipsaw against the lowly Astros.
