2nd Place for Live DP is a net loss

Taking about changes for 2012.

The prize money for 2nd place for the live version of the double play is $750. The cost to play is $525

2nd place prize money for the online version of the double play is $650. The cost to play is $350.

You have to pay $175 more to potentially win an additional $100 (net loss of $75 for playing live). The odds are greater for a second place finish then to win the additional $20,000 grand prize.

Conclusion: The 2nd place prize money needs to be adjusted up for the Live game.

You profit $225 if you finish 2nd and you have a better shot of winning the Live Overall prize as there are not as many teams.

My point was the double play live has a $20,000 overall prize pool that the online version doesn't.

I'd prefer 2nd place gets $0 and 1st place gets everything. For all leagues.

I think most play these type of games for the chance at the overall prize.

[/QUOTE]Surely they can fix this without compromising the 20K.

I don't have a problem with the payouts for leagues because of the stuff I talked about before. To me if you want better league prizes then do the satellite leagues. If your going for a overall prize then yes your league prizes are not going to be as good.
