Every other perfect game in baseball has been thrown by an American born pitcher.

13. In 1917, Babe Ruth started a game by walking Ray Morgan on four pitches. Incensed by the calls of each pitch, he stormed towards the umpire and took a swing at him.

Ejected, he was replaced by Ernie Shore. Morgan was caught stealing on Shore's first pitch. Shore would then retire the next 26 hitters in order.

Originally, he was given a perfect game. Since, it was taken away since he did not start the game.

14. Ruth led baseball in starts and shutouts for pitchers in 1916.

18. Cy Young had 749 complete games.

Only two pitchers in baseball history have even started that many games.

Nolan Ryan and Don Sutton.

19.Last year, James Shields gave up six homers in one game.

Before that, knuckleballers Tim Wakefield and RA Dickey did the same thing.

Before that, no pitcher had done it since 1940.

20. Pedro Martinez had a WHIP of .737 in 2000.

The A.L. ERA average for pitchers that year was 4.91

The closest to Mussina in WHIP was Mike Mussina with a WHIP of 1.187

21. No team has ever dropped 20 games below .500 during the course of a season and come back to finish at .500 or higher.

The Twins are 46-52 and gaining.

23. Mike Marshall threw 208 1/3 RELIEF innings in 1974.

For four years, Klu did something on the field just as massive.

He hit 171 home runs while striking out just 140 times during the same time frame.

George Brett led the league in hitting three times.

Once during the 70's

Once during the 80's

Once during the 90's
