Slow draft roster idea for 2012

Post by Quahogs » Fri Aug 12, 2011 9:08 am

Greg,

I think this would be a great idea for managing multiple slow draft rosters -

Would it be possible to create a number slot next to the reserve roster spots (just like the way we are able to manage our teams on the team mgmt page)where we can attach a number next to a player that's on the reserve ? There are so many reserve players (27?) and they are listed in alpha order. It would be great to be able to sort these players by pitchers, hitters, or minors, or DL'd. That way you can prop the most relevent reserves up top and the useless down below.

When you manage 5,6, or more of these teams it's tedious to have to sift thru all the rosters for friday and monday moves and is easy to miss the relevant players sometimes.

Also in lieu of or in addition to this, could we get a line break between bench hitters and pitchers for all leagues?

Excellent suggestion.

I also wouldn't mind this on the 30 man rosters if only to separate hitters from pitchers for an easier look for our minds eye.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Do me a favor and keep this in mind or help me start a To Do list of things we could add to the current software for 2012. This year we had limited time for enhancements with baseball and football both coming over on short notice, but hopefully we can enhance some things during the off-season. I love the Slow Draft concept and I'd like to be the leader there in all sports going forward. Thanks.

[/QUOTE]Have no fear I'll stay on top of this one. Duke and dough splits would work great too. Ease of game play = MORE teams ! :D

With multiple teams, I always have to count thru the alphabetized pitchers to review how many starters vs. RPs I have in my lineup in a given week.
