Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Oct 19, 2011 3:07 am

KDS has run for this NFBC All-Time Baseball League and although most owners went 1-15 we did get three owners who received their first preference. Here is the draft order for this unique league featuring all MLB players from 1901-Present:

NFBC All-Time Baseball League Draft Order:

1-Dave Shovein

2-Shawn Childs

3-Neal Moses

4-Brian Slack

5-Ryan Kelly

6-Glenn Lowy

9-Russel Wyatt

10-Jon Stadtmueller

11-John Pausma

12-Bruce Dahl

13-Mark Bendar

14-Steve Wells

15-Mark Sebro

The draft starts on Saturday. Good luck all.

Greg- Since this is a one of a kind league (not giving away future draft plans), can the KDS preferences be posted? It would be interesting to see who got their preferences and how varied the preferences are.

I venture to say this will be one of the longest "slow drafts" on record, and justifiably so. Lots and lots of info to digest. Have fun guys.

I am going to add the names to the tracking spreadsheet and post it on my web site then post the URL to download it here. I'll aim to do this by Thursday night.

I went 1,2,3,4,5,6,15,14,7,8,9,10,11,12,13.

And I'm the lucky one to be on the clock! I do see some advantages to sitting where Gekko is at the backend though

It's amusing to note that known numbers will take longer to surmise than unknown numbers.

Was Dan not allowed to join because he had more than a cursory knowledge of the players most likely to be drafted? From what I hear, Dan coined the term Georgia Peach for his good buddy Ty Cobb on one of their fishing trips. And his golf outings with the Splendid Splinter, Big Train and Ducky Medwick are the stuff of legend. Too bad Dan couldn't put his firsthand experiences/knowledge to good use:P

[/QUOTE]I'm willing to trade picks with either of you. Think about it, it'll give you more time to decide what direction you want to go.

In a draft of today, not a big deal, we can catch those five categories up later.

Not necessarily so in this draft.
