Wow, what a game. This is the best sport in the world. What are your predictions for game 7. How do the Cards not win now? Can Texas re-group?

It can get no better, unless of course the Tigers were playing......

The wave of emotions in that game...

I'm not even a Cardinals fan but boy did I find myself rooting for them. Down to their last strike twice! Can't imagine being a Cards fan and watching that game. Even the bunt by Lohse was something seeing it go over Beltre's head...

And we get the NFL on Sunday! What a great time of the year!

Got into work this morning and EVERYBODY was talking about David Freese's Walk Off Homer and Josh Hamilton's ALMOST game winning home run! On the local radio station they were comparing Jack Buck's famous Kirby Pucket WS Call and his son Joe's call last night "AND WE WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT"! Pretty Cool!

This series has been one I will surely remember. Getting to know all the characters on both of these teams, I have flip flopped more than a politician seeking higher office on who I want to win this thing now... SO GOOD FOR BASEBALL!!!! :D

I always want Game 7 and I always root for the NL, so I am happy.

However, Freese is one lucky sumbitch. If St. Louis loses that game, everything else would be forgotten except him dropping that piece-of-cheese Mr. Jules flyball at third. Two pitches later, Young drives in Hamilton. Can you spell G-O-A-T!

It is Game 6 of the World Series...use two hands, for goodness sake!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Rich, I agree 100%... I was rooting for Texas to win, but how do you not get into that comeback?! Awesome game. Wouldn't change it.

Think about it, the Green Bay Packers win their last two games of the regular season to just barely get into the NFL playoffs as the No. 6 seed. They then win three straight road games before upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. The Dallas Mavericks then ride their star Dirk Nowitzki and grizzly veteran lineup from a No. 3 seed to the NBA title. And now the St. Louis Cardinals, who were 10 1/2 games out of the wild card with 30 games left, down to a must win on the last day of the regular season, down 2-1 to Philly and 3-2 to Texas with one strike left, win the World Series. You can't script stories like these. Just great, great team sports action this last year. Amazing.

All good. Bring on the NFL playoffs next!!! And bring back baseball as soon as you can!! Arizona Fall League, here I come!! :D
