Several of the guys on offense are exceeding expectations. Matsui (5th round), Vidro (7th), Lugo (10th) and Vizquel (22nd) are all giving stats certainly above where I drafted them. I wish I could claim Alfonzo (25th) too, but he is on my bench. Dooooh!

My pitchers are all performing about as I expected except for Lowe who has been phenominal. My disappointment is that for the four guys that I have had in for all their starts so far (13) have combined for 81.3 IP, a 2.877 ERA, and a 1.279 WHIP but only generated two wins.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Since injuries usually tell the story, worst would be Morneau(5th), Crosby(12th), Affeldt(13th) and Benson(17th). Best has to be Hawkins(21), J. Phillips(26), Cantu(27), Lyon(28) and Counsel(30). Helped soften the blow of some of the walking wounded.

I drafted Pujols with my first pick, but my best players to date are:

Burrell (11), Hillenbrand (18), Tim Hudson (2), and Francisco Cordero (7)

My biggest disappoinments so far are:

Renteria (4), K. Matsui (9), and Kearns (12).

I didn't put my disappointments so far. Certainly Renteria (2nd) and Rolen (1st), but at least Rolen is showing some life since last weekend.

Not on my team but B. Roberts is by far having the best season, and Burrell is doing very well.

For my team Best: SP Hudson (6), SP Lopez (13), SP Buehrle (11), 3B V. Castilla (23), SS Izturiz (10)(top 100 worst pick HA!)

Worst: DL Bums Ordonez (7), Borowski (12), Berkman (9), Upton (15), Burke (21), M. Adams (14)

UPTON in round 15 is that the earliest he was picked in any league. That seems awful high, to many great to good players left.
