The leader in NY7 has a mighty $5 left in FAAB. This could be best invested in a voodoo doll ensuring the good health of his players.
Are there any other teams with similar low amounts remaining?

In Chicago #2, the lowest has 542 left (mainly spent on Brower - $226, and T. Jones - $115) followed closely by me (spent on W. Taveras - $201, Herges - $188, and J. Tavarez - $51). Everyone else has more than $700 left.

Chicago # 1 ranges from $399 to $991 with an average of $707 left to spend.

I just lost the 4th of my original starting team (Jose Valentin) for an extended time.
Can anyone beat my bad luck?
Ordonez, Todd Walker, Schilling are the others

Don, At least you were smart enough NOT to draft Barry (steroid) Bonds!

I guess not drafting Barry gets you 178th place overall?
Excellent work
Personally, I picked Barry way too early - shame I wasted that 2nd round pick.

lol, I'm LB - Fortress Dyv... in 23rd place as of this second, although I would bet after a medium quality day I'll wake up tomorrow around 30-32nd.
Berkman is coming back for me for next week, though - so I'm looking for a little boost to go chasing after Doughboys who is running away with LV #7 right at the moment.
My draft went like this:
#6 pick
Bobby Abreu
Barry Bonds (sigh...)
Gary Sheffield
Carlos Delgado
Mark Prior
Mike Lowell (sigh...)
Roy Halladay
Eddie Guardado
Shingo Takatsu (sigh... ?)
Freddy Garcia
Lance Berkman
Carlos Guillen
Casey Blake
Jacque Jones
Miguel Olivo (Wasted pick... )
Luis Gonzalez
Jason Marquis
D'Angelo Jimenez
Raul Ibanez
Craig Biggio
Luis Ayala
Orlando Hernandez
Wily Mo Pena
Ty Wiggington
Brandon League
Vinny Castilla (wish I had played him the first 2 weeks...)
Dave Williams
Willy Taveras
Todd Greene
Runelvys Hernandez
I will say that drafting Bonds and Berkman and KNOWING they were going to miss time made me draft solid hitters later in the draft as insurance. I screwed up on Bonds - wish I had grabbed Brian Roberts in round 2 instead
I will hopefully draft better next year.

DYV... A pretty impressive 1st month I must say!
Only 5 more to go......... We were 278th after our disastrous 1st week, thanks mainly to Javier Vasquez and Bobby Crosby. But now ... We are climbing the long ladder to the top @...157 today. So we are content with our steady progress.
So even if Barry sits out the whole year, props to you for your early success. We shall keep an eye on you as we progress into the top 100.
OUT for now.........w2w

It'll take being in contention in August for me to get too excited, but so far things are cruising nicely.

CHI 4 has 5 teams with under $500 left in FAAB and as a whole average $627 remaining. Low 322.
