It is nice that you really have no control over what happens in each game. It is best to sit back and watch how things go.

Today, I had Kip Wells going against the Cubbies. I was on track for a very strong start win until Jose Mesa blew the game.

But going back to Monday afternoon, I activated Ryan Dempster as the Cubs closer even though he had stunk the joint up last week and I wondered if he would even get a chance.

Today, after Mesa blew my potential win, Dempster got his second save in two days. Now hopefully Eaton will not have his current 8-1 lead go away. All things considered, I should end up with a good pitching day.

No complaints, but this is how my season is going. Great stats, only one win out of three quality starts.
