Okay, bring on the second half leagues. I drafted Joe Borowski in round 15 knowing that he would be the closer and the next day, he gets hit by a line drive and is done. Now he couldn't get Garth Brooks out. I drafted Brandon Lyon last knowing that he would be the closer and that looked good until the fantasy gods thought I was falling in love with my team too much and made his arm go limp. Add my dl'ed ordonez, thome, sosa, atkins, and my underacheiving bret boone and jason kendall and the pathetic tim hudson(3rd pick) and mark mulder and you can see my pain.
I dont know how much doughboys sold their soul for but to go this long without any significant injuries unless you call the overacheiving Milton Bradley significant, is amazing. Remember, I am just venting. Please dont take any of it personally. My team just reeks.
