Congratulations to Bats from Hell in Chicago League 1 who finished first in the NFBC last week with 2,528 points. A scorching week from Joe Mauer (.478) plus strong weeks by Lew Ford (.364-3-10), Vinny Castilla (.350) and Omar Vizquel (.346) paced the offense. C.C. Sabathia picked up a pair of wins while Felix Hernandez fanned 20 and Mariano Rivera picked up two saves to lead the pitching.
