Problems with Free Agent Bidding Last Round

Post by mystydog » Mon Jun 07, 2004 3:16 pm

I am okay with the fact that there is nothing that can be done but, I thought you should know that I lost out on picking up a player this free agent period because the site would not accept the original bid (yes, I had enough Free Agent Dollars to cover the bid)....I tried to bid 17 dollars then 11 dollars the only bid the site would accept without routing me back to my home team page was 4 dollars.....hoping that I might sneak it through I went ahead and placed the bid.....I lost by 3 Dollars....

I dont begrudge the team that got the player at all but, this should not happen....

Please forward this post to [email protected] and feel free to call the customer service number at 888-450-2730 to talk this through. STATS can look at your past bids and tell you what happened. This sounds very unusual for this system as you can bid the maximum amount for any player you'd like. Again, talk to the customer service rep and I have a feeling we'll figure out what happened. Let me know what happens at [email protected].

I tried to pick up Mussina and Pedro this past week for $8 and $10, respectively, but the system wouldn't let me. Can you check on it?

So once again Gekko is butting in where he is not needed and as always he contributed nothing useful.
