Was wondering....if Tom Kessenich is hosting the Chicago event and Rocky Landsverk is hosting the New York event, shouldn't it follow suit that a former Oshkosh Northwestern disciple host the Las Vegas event? Weren't Mark Miller or Steve Drumwright available? Just curious....

All right who are you and how do you know about the Oshkosh Northwestern or that Rocky and I both used to work there? :D

Want me to see if Brian Lovett is interested in helping out? He's another former Northwestern reporter who works for Krause.

Too funny. Don't remember Brian Lovett, but will try to recall him. Just happened to stumble onto the site and saw that some of the names are familiar from days gone by. Checking out the NL auction league in Chicago but still have to clear some calendar space to make it feasible. Until then, I'll keep my incredibly secret identity confidential and work on uncovering some of your past articles from Oshkosh.

Well it's a good thing then I never wrote anything for the Northwestern that I'd be embarrassed about.

I think.

Actually, Dan Krumrei here. Not sure if we ever met or if you covered any of our games when we played but thought it would be amusing to remind you of your "roots". Still working on clearing space for March 18.

On another matter, I see that you joined Jeff Howard, among others, in the "Krause Draft" if that's what it's officially called. Jeff joined our regular 20-man league last year and decided not to return this year. Perhaps it was because he finished last out of 20 teams. You can tell him that I said that too.

The name's familiar Dan. I don't know if I covered any of your games or not. The memory fades a bit as I get older. Not sure why that is. But I'm always one to remember my roots. I still live in Oshkosh actually even though I don't work there anymore.

Back to the Krause draft, it looks like I was reviewing the 2004 draft and not the 2003. Even so, you'll still have to ask Jeff how he managed to finish 20th out of 20. He'll get a kick out of it.

Will do. Greg knows Jeff better than I do, but if he's out in Vegas for our FSTA conference I'll be sure to pass the message along.

Jeff Howard took the year off for 2005. Why I don't know. I'd guess pretty important though.
