FA bid accepted??

I also did not hear anything confirming the system was up. But, I also did not see anything warning that the system was not up and running. It sure looked like everything was ready to go. The bid input worked, a little too well, in ultimately awarding waiver players.

Hey folks, I just talked to STATS and we're on schedule for having everything ready to go by 5 p.m. Central time today. STATS is putting together the final corrections and is preparing to mark all of the drafts as final which means you guys will be good to go very shortly.

Thanks for your help and your patience with everything the last few days. Hopefully that's the biggest hurdle we'll have to clear and everything will be smooth sailing from here on out.

Knock on wood.

You are wondering how I expect to compete? I'm dying to know why.

Since I have scoreboard on you from last year, you might want to rethink your silliness.

Of course you want to concentrate on this year. You choked, I cashed. You are the one who wanted to talk about ability to be competitive. I've shown I can. You proved you can't.

[/QUOTE]Someone drafted Peyton Manning in New York 4 -- I suppose I can pick him up as a free agent later in the year if his owner dropped him.

hey, when will players be added to the free agent pool that are currently not listed? I have such deep deep sleepers, that they may be considered comatose.

Just one last question...when do we have to submit free agent bids by?...tonight?

...Tuesday night?

...Sunday Night?

I'm buzzed and confused.

Gents, unlike WCOFB last year, I'm confident the few remaining bugs will be fixed quickly.

For those lucky enough not to be in the other game last year, we struggled for about 6 weeks with a work in progress FA system.

It's funny...last year my first pick up, Freel, was also executed immediately and therefore shown to everybody. I told everybody I was just testing the system, lol... sound familiar? I ultimately decided not to bid on him that first week, I think I picked up Grudzielanek instead, and he was hot for several weeks.

~Lance Sunday, April 3rd is the submission deadline, with winning bids announced that same evening.

~Lance I'm glad everybody is able to process information so easily. Makes one have a warm fuzzy feeling about the competition.

From the rules posted on the website:

9. Bidding Time Frame: The bidding process starts just prior to Opening Day and ends at the completion of Week 26 (including any regular-season tie-breaker game). Bids will be accepted on the league web site from Monday at 3 p.m. ET until Sunday at 7 p.m. ET in each of these weeks. If you are submitting by phone, you must submit your bids by 5 p.m. on Friday. Rosters will be updated by 8 p.m. ET on Sunday with the results of all successful bids and starting lineups for the upcoming week must be finalized five minutes before each game every Monday.
