Greg,
On Friday at 8:03AM I posted a question regarding de la rosa p kc being placed on the DL on Wednesday and there was no dl designation from stats. Can we see what the story was with de la rosa as I had 2 pitchers I could have substituted before 1pm but wasn't able to.
Also, is this the correct board to ask such questions or is a direct email to you or Tom the correct option?
Thank you

Thank you It's fine to ask questions here, but last week was a rare week when Tom and I were at a conference in Las Vegas and didn't check the boards every day. We both missed this question, although our answer would have been that we rely on STATS to get the official DL list from Major League Baseball and I assume he wasn't on that list. I do see that several sites had him going on the DL on Wednesday or Thursday, but I haven't talked with STATS about it yet. I will and post an answer here.
However, again, I assume he wasn't officially listed on MLB's list that STATS gets. Otherwise, he definitely would have been DL'ed in our game. But I'm not sure why MLB.com would have listed him as on the DL and then not had him on the official DL list. It's crazy.
If you want to get a hold of me immediately for any of these questions, always e-mail me directly as I always have my Blackberry with me. But posting a question here is fine. E-mailing me a question is better.
