After checking on mlb.com it appears Mike Hampton is on the DL. Perhaps it's not official yet...(I assume) b/c the NFBC site will not allow me to replace him. Since it is Bob Howry I'd be replacing him w/, maybe it's for the best! :D

From MLB.com

"Immediately, Hampton was scratched from his scheduled start, and a few hours later, he found himself back on the disabled list yet again. "

Can we switch him out? I remember going through this a number of times last year. All reports were that a player was DL'ed but STATS

didn't authorize it. I think Utley was one.

A Wise man said:

There's two things we know about Atlanta's Mike Hampton. He is intent on finding the best school system for his children and he loves being on the disabled list. While Hampton was warming up for his start tonight, he strained his pectoral muscle. He was placed on the 15-day DL and Jo-Jo Reyes is expected to be called up. If you own Hampton, it better be a 40-man league or an extremely deep NL league. He hasn't pitched since 2005 when he started 12 games. Well, at least his kids are bright.

After watching Hampton and then listening to the discussion 100 miles from Atlanta, I think he's lost his confidence. I don't think that it's he doesn't want to start. But more like he's scared of what's gonna happen when he does.

Kinda like Pedro... I think that pulled hamstring was actually shattered pride
