Could a probability whiz riddle me this......



8 leagues and never getting one of your top 6 picks?



In fairness my 14/15 draft positions in the Satellites and Main/Super were strategic (so that was technically my 7th or 8th preference). But for the online, I chose to straight-line my preferences 1-12 so that I could get the earliest pick possible. Time to kick it off from a position of strength....



Result: 8th pick, 10th pick and 10th pick



Really?



Can the kids go back to picking out of the hat please?

If your question is what are the odds that you would draw those three postions or later,..I believe you are saying 5/12, 3/12 and 3/12.



Assuming they are random events, I place it at 2.6% chance.



But I could be wrong.
