Position players pitching stats??

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find the thread:

Do position player's (Cody Ross, Nick Swisher) pitching stats count? Live scoring is giving me credit for Ross today...

Shouldn't Ross and Swisher both qualify at 'P' now so that we can start them as a pitcher if we so choose?
