Greg: FAAB Player Pool

Post by Gekko » Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:20 pm

Greg,

I will be traveling this weekend (like many others). Currently the free agent pool has many, many players that are minor leaguers and will be sent down (if not already). It also has retired players listed.

My question...

When will the free agent pool only contain the players we can actually bid on along with the correct position eligibility?

Can I put a bid in tonight on any player in my faab pool and have it be 100% positive the player will still be there on Sunday at 8pm with the same position eligibility he has now? If not, when is the drop dead date/time to have the fre agent pool 100% accurate? Thanks.

The rules state that satellite leagues that drafted before March 29 will pick-up free agents before Opening Day. So with only Thursday, Friday and Saturday left prior to Opening Day could someone please announce which day it will be?

Leagues that drafted after March 28 are supposed to have their first FAAB after Opening Day. I have a draft on Saturday and would like to know in advance when the first FAAB will be.

About an hour ago I set my bids for a league that drafted in early March. I made sure to save my bids and visited the message boards for a few minutes. When I returned to my bids my player I wanted to drop had been changed to someone I did not want to drop. Earlier, while I was setting my conditional bids, 2 different times the player I wanted to drop changed.

Ok, I am taking a deep breath and want to be understanding. I sincerely feel sorry for Greg, Tom, Geoff and the many loyal NFBC customers that the merger is starting out like this. Everything will likely turn out great in the long run, but putting out a FAAB system with so many problems only 5 days before the season starts is really disappointing.
