Description of draft room

Post by Lefty » Fri Mar 04, 2011 2:21 am

Could someone describe the features of the draft room being used for the satellite drafts. In what ways is it similar or different from the draft room at mock draft central, for example. Is it possible to toggle back and forth from draft settings adjusted by the person drafting and the default settings? Can one toggle back and forth from players at particular positions to all players? Are relief pitchers separated from starting pitchers in the lists?

Thanks

No, yes, and no.

No, we can't go between our lists and the default list. First thing I did was put Adam Wainwright to the bottom. That may be corrected in newer defaults though.

Yes, we can go back and forth between 'all' and other positions.

No, pitchers are lumped together.

There is no audio warning when it is our turn.

Clock counts down with seconds.

We can see who else is on.

A nice big Queue.

For the short amount of time that STATS had to develop this room, it is quite good.

doughboys

thanks for the very useful information. One last question. Is there a search capability? I assume so, but if not that could have a large impact on draft preparation.
