Dude, I drafted him in the middle of December.

I was so used to getting Cueto later in EVERY draft, didn't realize Sportscenter did a special on him ;) I seriously wonder how many people knew about him prior to that piece??

BTW, I drafted Eveland in the middle of February...heck, people didn't even know who the guy was on draft day.

Again, like I told you before, I know SP...you claimed you did, but your selections have proven otherwise. Patrick a lot of pressure knowing so much more than others all the time? You live in a dream world and that is evident by the fact that you think Dan Kenyon, Rick Thomas, Jules, Matt Mickle about twenty other players and myself had no idea who Eveland and Cueto were during those drafts. It is one thing to be cocky a lot of us are about baseball it is another thing to constantly have to try to show you are the best at something often times at the expense of showing respect for your competition.
Kent, I think you are one of the only one's who feels this way. Do you really think the people you mentioned care what I think?? I doubt it.

Eveland really wasn't drafted in any leagues. If people knew about him, why not take a shot? I heard people at the main event ask who he was?? I don't lie or fabricate anything.....just very opinionated and not afraid to share it. Others do, so why can't I?

I got Cueto in basically every snake draft I did in the NFBC, with the players you mentioned. How am I not supposed to think others really didn't "know" about him? So what if i didn't get him in the main or auction...am I happy, not really, but I will live with having him in all my other leagues.

I actually talked with Dan about a pitcher recently who doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar...if he was, he would've been acquired more. Sorry, but I see a lot of reactive thinking around here and not enough proactive.

Kent, keep drafting Anthony Reyes and you'll be just fine.
I am going to enjoy watching you get humbled this year you legend in your own mind hypocrite.

We go head to head twice I am more than willing to let the results do the talking while you keep rambling about your dream world domination.

No, please keep criticizing me. I love being judged by others.

On a totally unrelated and rude topic change...

I'd like to know your humble opinion on religion.

I'm curious as to how you claim to disdain it...yet use it in your MB signature.

I'm confused as to how I've read you don't follow any religion...yet you choose "GOD" which is not used by all religions.

I'm just trouble-shooting my logic tonight.

I think you indeed DO have a religion of choice...and if not...I'd like to know where you stand.

I guess Shandlerisms are a type of religion.

I'll pm you later, don't want to cause any more problems on here.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Just to add to the sentiments on Cueto and Eveland - my March 23 Winner Take All League 2 Sat team - which is the team sponsored by GG's contest sits in first place today thanks in large part to a fast start from a staff that includes Cueto/Eveland and Manny Parra - who hasn't even been discussed yet - those three come after Beckett/Maine/Hughes - we've also speculated on Villanueva and Morales - so feeling pretty good about this staff today.

I hear that advice - funny thing was in my previous March 6th Sat I drafted Cueto in the 30th rd - then the word got out and after the main where he was going so high - I spent a 16th rdr to make sure I nabbed him - Eveland and Parra were basically my Cueto's in that second draft - guys who throw heat with great upside - I came out of the draft expecting ERA's around 4.00 for these guys - so if they can continue to rack up the K's and if I can get ERA's anywhere south of 4 -I'll take it. Obviously - good starts can always be traced back to good health and so far we've had it.
