Free Agents

I have a question concerniung the timing of getting a free agent on your team's roster.

Lineups are due by noon on Monday. It appears that FAs are also assigned to your team at noon on Mondays. For the sake of argument, let's say you had but two catchers on your roster and one went on the DL. Also, assume you placed a successful bid on another catcher. It seems that you would not be able to activate this player on the week you got him since the timing of receiving that player would preclude his immediate activation.

Can this situation be clarified.

The timing of free agents and add/drops hasn't been completely finalized yet as I need to work with STATS and its customer service department to make sure we can complete everything within the time frames I have proposed. You are correct in this assessment and I'll make sure we get this completely correct in the next few weeks. STATS is currently building the league pages and team pages and we should have all of that figured out shortly, including the free agent timing. All NFBC members will be getting their IDs and passwords shortly and at that point you can determine your team names. I'll get the definitive free agent schedule to everyone shortly.
