FA question

Post by Plymouth » Tue Mar 02, 2004 3:25 am

How many free agents can a team pick up in one week? If a team bids say on three different players and wins all three bids, do they then waive three players from their roster and pick-up all three FA they were high bidder on? Thanks.

There is no limit on weekly free agent pickups. You will just be required to provide a drop with every pickup and you can keep bidding until your imaginary $1,000 FAAB is out. Hopefully you'll have such a good draft that you won't need to pick up 3-5 guys per week.

Remember also that you can make some bids conditional. That is, if you get FA#1, your winning bids for FA#2 and FA#3 are irrelevent (just a little FAAB money down the drain), if you only wanted FA#2 or FA#3 in case you missed out on FA#1.

I wonder if that post confused more people than it helped? I'm not too big on grammer and sentence structure, but some owners really need to check themselves.

I can tell you're not big on "grammer" as you misspelled it. Yes, some owners should check themselves!

Gotcha!!! Boy, this is shaping up to be an entertaining day at the office tomorrow. The guys need a couple of good laughs once in a while. Thanks.

Your attempts at "sarcasm" are as weak as your other attempts on this board.

Re-read my Jeff Cirillo and Jack Wilson posts in your pathetic "Movin' On Up" thread, if you'd like to try to get a clue about sarcasm.

Your lame lack of rebuttal was exactly what I would've expected from you.

Funny. Keep up the good work providing me with material for me to amuse the guys at work with tomorrow. Oh, I forgot, I'm not as cool as you are. I won't be able to share this with "my boys at the office" tomorrow.
