I suspect this has been thought about but I would prefer not sitting next to the team drafting immediately before or after me. I haven't ever drafted in a situation like this but conversations are easily overheard and lists will be spread out on the table for people to see without trying too hard. Given the shape of the table, might there be preassigned seating to ensure teams are both randomly placed and also are not seated next to those teams drafting before or after them?



Might I suggest the following seating arrangements. The table will be "U" shaped. Starting in the upper left hand part of the "U" and going counter-clockwise, assign teams drafting in slots 1, 4, 7, 10, & 13. The bottom of the "U" would have teams in slots 2, 5, 8, 11, & 14. Finally the right side of the "U" would have 3, 6, 9, 12, & 15.

Sorry about that, but we are definitely drafting in the order of the draft and thus you'll be sitting next to the guy who picks before and after you. Hide those draft sheets if you're worried about anything. But trust me, most people will be more worried about keeping up with their own teams to be busy enough to constantly check over their neighbors' teams.

I was in WCOFB last year, and while others can ease drop on co-managers, unless you talk like you're really going at someone, its pretty hard to hear word for word whats going on. There are going to be other leagues drafting in the same room at the same time, there will be enough crowd noise to help muttle any talking co managers might do. Its not that bad. And like Greg said, you'll be too busy marking off players taken and worrying about your next pick that you wont have time to pay attention to other owners and their cheat sheets. If you really are worried, traslate to Spanish or Russian, or spell names backwords so others cant peek at your checklists.

No problem. The question was asked when my group met last weekend and I had it on my "to do list" to find out.
