Post by Quahogs » Sat Sep 18, 2004 5:58 am

I know we are not able to put in for FA pickups Oct 3 if there is a 1 game playoff on monday but are we able to set our lineup for that monday playoff game ?? Or will sep 27 be the last time we can adjust them ?

The lineups you set on Monday, Sept. 27th will carry you through the final week and that includes any Monday playoff game. We will not allow new lineups to be set on Monday, Oct. 4th if there is one or more playoff games. Those stats obviously will count toward regular season stats and will be part of the NFFC's totals, but we will not allow people to set their lineups differently for that one game. In our view, that is just part of Week 26 in the NFFC season.

Accordingly, there will not be any extra FAAB period that Sunday, Oct. 3rd. The last FAAB bidding will be this Sunday, Sept. 26th.

Good question and I apologize for not seeing it over the weekend. I have had a few private e-mail questions on this and meant to post an answer for everyone today before I saw this. Good question and hopefully everyone is on the same page with this.

Can you believe that there is a tie for first place overall two days before the end of the regular season? Unbelievable.

It states right in the rules that any tie will be processed as a tie. In other words, if there is an overall tie for first place, the two teams will split the first place money and the second place money, $115,000 together. We would crown co-champions. This was set up this way because I didn't want to determine the champion based on number of categories one team led over another. If with 1,950 available points we end in an exact tie, then both teams deserve the honor.

Hope this helps and good luck over the last two days....or three.
