Players Not on Free Agent List

Hello.

This is a player that I was looking at as a possible free agent. He's not on the list, played in majors for about 8 years, and will be on major league roster this year. I don't see him on any teams roster in my league. (NY-6) If he isn't listed by about Thursday, is there somehow I can place a bid for him?

No! But I do have Lyle Overbay, so his son, better stay put! LOL!!!

The same thing happened last year with veterans that were signed to minor league contracts, but didn't have their contracts purchased by the major league clubs until the weekend before opening day. Ray Lankford was one example that I distinctly remember.

Yet another reason to chill out for a few days before submitting your bids!

If there's a player who should be listed as a free agent but isn't please contact Greg or myself via e-mail. We'll let STATS know and that player will be added to the free-agent list. Thanks.
